Fall Fest

Fall Fest

Clifton, TX
Third Saturday in October

Fall Fest

Art, cars, crafts, children's catch-and-release, quilts, a 5K fun run, live entertainment, and wine tasting – there’s something for everyone at the annual Fall Fest held each year in historic Clifton.

Five blocks in the downtown area become pedestrian-only for the day, hosting “Market on Main Street”.  Arts and crafts vendors from all over the state line the sidewalks.  Antique malls, art galleries, and other downtown stores attract browsers and shoppers.

Kids have fun with  the inflatables, face painting, and games setup just for them. A free catch 'n release tank just for the kids is always fun.

From drill teams to jazz musicians, live entertainment is available under a tent throughout the day.

When you’re ready for a snack, or a meal, you’re sure to find something in the many booths with festival-type food.  BBQ, burgers, and home-baked cakes, pies and cookies are just some of the temptations to satisfy your appetite.

Fall Fest car show

A quilt show and auction preview begins in the morning, followed by the auction around noon.  New quilts, vintage quilts, large quilts, small quilts – you never know what you’ll find at this annual fundraiser sponsored by the Lutheran Sunset Ministries.  Besides the auction, smaller handmade items are also available for purchase.

Car enthusiasts gather at the “Cruising Main Street” Car Show, held on the grounds of the Classic Chassis Auto Museum. Close to 100 cars are on display for the show, which spills over into surrounding streets. It’s also a great opportunity to take a tour through the museum.

Fall Fest

The Bosque Arts Center, located just west of downtown, hosts an art show and sale.  Original art in oil, pastel, watercolor and more is on display.  Artists are on hand to discuss their works and demo their skills.

The final event is a wine tasting at the Red Caboose Winery’s location in Clifton.  A sampling of wine, cheese and artisan breads is a great way to relax at the end of a busy day.

Come early, stay late, and enjoy an autumn day in Clifton!
